TNM and AIRTEL agent

A TNM and AIRTEL agent business is a small business that provides mobile money services to customers on behalf of TNM and AIRTEL, two of Malawi’s major telecommunications companies. The business allows customers to conveniently access services without having to visit a TNM or AIRTEL office or bank.

An agent can provide services such as money deposits and withdrawals, money transfers, airtime sales, bill payments. The agent usually operates from a shop where customers can easily access the services. But as for me I don't have any of that because am currently a student so I operate at my hostel during school days.

The business requires sufficient working capital which I currently don't have including cash and electronic money, to serve customers who want to deposit or withdraw money. The agent earns income through commissions received from transactions and may also benefit from selling airtime.

A good agent business should have reliable network connectivity, adequate cash and electronic balance and good customer service. Security is also important because the business handles both cash and electronic transactions.

Overall, an agent business provides a convenient financial service to the community while creating an opportunity for the business owner to generate income.
